Rubicon, Inc., is a not-for-profit organization, designated a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt facility by the Internal Revenue Service and licensed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.

The organization's purpose is to respond selectively to identified human service needs in Darlington County through prevention, intervention and treatment strategies aimed at strengthening, enhancing and maintaining effective functioning of families and individuals and generally improve the health status of community residents.

Office hours are 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 AM to 12 Noon on Friday. Telephone crisis assistance is available by telephone on weekends and after normal working hours.
