Clients can expect the right to...
- Be thoroughly informed of benefits & risks of services received
- Have confidentiality and privacy protected at all times
- Be served by professionals with the highest ethical standards
- Expect freedom from risk of physical, psychological or sexual abuse
- Be provided most appropriate, least restrictive or intrusive services
- Participate, along with a counselor, in treatment planning
- Know financial obligations for designated services
- Be provided available assistance, if physically or otherwise impaired
- Refuse services, as allowed by law, but be informed of consequences
- Review medical records upon a reasonable request
- Be referred to other providers if Rubicon cannot meet their needs
- File a grievance in the event of perceived violation of rights
Rubicon expects its clients to...
- Be on time for appointments; give advance notice of inability to do so
- Give adequate information for appropriate treatment planning
- Cooperate in the treatment process to achieve personal goals
- Abide by all appropriate service standards and rules as explained
- Refrain from verbal/physical abuse or threatening of staff
- Meet all financial obligations as agreed upon
