Winston McElveen Executive Director Winston has an MA from Wheaton College (Illinois), and served on the original Board of Directors of the agency that became Rubicon until 1975. He was then hired as Executive Director, and continues in that position at present.

Ernie Kirkland, MS, LPC, CACII Assistant Director of OperationsA talented counselor and administrator with 19 years experience, Ernie holds a Master of Science degree, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Level II Certified Addictions Counselor. Ernie has been a part of the Rubicon family for five years, serving the last two as both a Counselor and Assistant Director.

Pat Guest Finance/Employee Benefits Manager Pat is a graduate of Coker College (Hartsville), and has been a part of Rubicon for 15 years. She handles all benefits and financial issues.

Roberta (Bert) Lawhon Office Manager Bert has been with Rubicon for two years, and is a former business owner. Her responsibilities include the day-to-day administrative issues of the organization.

Lisa Douglas QA Coordinator Three years with Rubicon, Lisa coordinates the Medicaid quality assurance program for alcohol and other drug programs for seven agencies in the Pee Dee, including Rubicon.

Marcy Smith Data Coordinator Marcy coordinates all computer data entry and the accounts receivable system. She has been a part of our team for six years.

Rachel Watford Administrative Assistant Rachel has responsibility for the administrative duties of our criminal justice programs. She has been a member of the Rubicon family for 14 years.

Tammy Gainey Medical Records Manager Tammy is responsible for management of all medical records, accounts payable, and all insurance claims,
including medicaid reimbursement for services provided by Rubicon. She is a graduate of Florence-Darlington Tech, and has been with Rubicon for 16 years.

Tara McDaniel Administrative Assistant Tara is the newest member of our team. She has a BA in Mass Communications, has worked for six months part time, and became a permanent employee in January, 2005. Tara will coordinate the PAIRS program, as well as some administrative duties. |
